Louise is a blouse with a bohemian spirit. Its blouson shape allows you freedom of movement in all circumstances.

What makes Louise so iconic are its gathers, which add a touch of elegance. Its balloon sleeves also lend a romantic and feminine air. The ruffled collar adds a charming detail. And the small ties at the neck and cuffs provide a meticulous finishing touch that makes all the difference.

Changes to be made:

Step No. 1

Reduce pieces #1, 3 and 6 by 15 cm and cut in a straight line (do not follow the curve of the bottom of the blouse).

Step No. 2

Prepare the basque: it is a rectangle 160 cm wide and 25 cm long including the hem (this version is quite short, you can adjust it according to your preferences).

You can make three different panels: front left, back and front right.

Assembling the dress

Step No. 3

Follow exactly the same steps as for the Louise blouse.
Step No. 4

Create gathering threads at 5 mm and 8 mm on the top of the basque.

Place the blouse and the dress peplum right sides together. Sew with a 1 cm seam allowance, overlock the edges and hem the bottom of the dress.
