DELIVERY & ORDER

How does the pre-order process work? 🛒

When a product is on pre-order, it will be delivered within the timeframe indicated on the product page of the item, at the end of the description.

You will receive emails to keep you informed throughout the preparation of your order. For environmental reasons, if an order contains other items, it will be shipped in its entirety within the same timeframe indicated. If you require two separate shipments, please contact us at bonjour@maeliparis.com.

The item I wanted is out of stock! Will it be restocked? 🛒

At Maéli Paris, we have chosen upcycling for our ready-to-wear and couture offering.

Therefore, our stock is available in very limited quantities , and our production is done in small batches . Each piece or product is (almost) unique ⭐.

Therefore, we cannot guarantee a restock of a given product. But all hope is not lost: it is possible that one day we will find a similar fabric.

In any case, we highly encourage you to write to us at bonjour@maeliparis.com . We might be able to suggest a little gem that might be just what you're looking for 😍.

I haven't received a confirmation email; has my order been processed? 🛒

When your order is complete, you will receive a confirmation email at the email address you provided during the purchase process.

For PDF patterns - The confirmation email is sent from “deliveries@skypilotapp.com” and the subject line will be: “Maéli Paris - Your PDF pattern is here ❤️ !”. To retrieve your PDF pattern, you can:

  • Click the "access content" button directly from the confirmation email.
  • Go to your Maeli customer area > My Orders

For other products - The confirmation email is sent via the address “ bonjour@maeliparis.com ” and the subject of the email will be: “Order #order number”.

If this is not the case, we invite you to:

  • Check the spam folder in your email inbox, or the promotions section of your email.
  • Log in to your customer account.
  • Write to us at the following email address: bonjour@maeliparis.com . We will be able to ensure that your order has been received and send you a confirmation email.
Which countries do you deliver to? 🚚

Maéli's "physical" orders can be delivered to:

  • In Metropolitan France 🇫🇷
  • In Belgium 🇧🇪
  • In Luxembourg 🇱🇺
  • In Germany 🇩🇪
  • In Spain 🇪🇸

Digital products, such as PDF patterns, can be shipped worldwide.

What are your delivery methods? 🚚

Depending on the country of delivery, several delivery methods are possible.

Details by country can be found in the section " What are the delivery times and costs?" (just below)

For France, the delivery methods offered are:

  • Home delivery with La Poste: via Colissimo or tracked letter
  • Delivery to a collection point with Chronopost Relais and Mondial Relay
  • Express home delivery with Chronopost (Chronpost Offer 18)
  • Express delivery to a pickup point with Chronopost (Chronopost Pickup Point 13 offer)

The delivery option will be selected after you have validated your shopping cart.

What are the delivery times and costs? 🚚

The shipping time does not include order preparation time. This can range from 1 to 3 business days.

The delivery time is effective from the moment the package is taken into the care of the carrier.

Depending on the country and the weight of the package, fees and delivery times may vary.

How can I track my order? 🚚

After completing your purchase, you will receive several emails:

  1. Order confirmation
  2. Order shipment
  3. Order delivery

Your associated tracking number will be provided in the order dispatch email. This will allow you to track its delivery.

My package was returned to the sender, what should I do? 🚚

If your package has been returned to us, there could be several reasons:

  • Incomplete address
  • Unknown recipient
  • Package not collected within the allotted time

In this case, write us a short message at the following address: bonjour@maeliparis.com , so that we can find a solution to your problem.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

I would like to return my order, is that possible? 🔄

In accordance with current legislation, you have 14 days from the date of receipt to return your order.

However, some of our products are not eligible for the right of withdrawal:

  • PDF sewing patterns
  • Sewing patterns in a pouch

For a return to be accepted, the item must not have been used, worn, or washed, and it must still have its original tag attached. Otherwise, the product cannot be returned.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer (unless the error is ours).

Is it possible to make an exchange? 🔄

Yes, it is possible to request an exchange, only for the ready-to-wear range on our website 👗.

How long will I have to wait for my refund? 🔄

Upon receipt of the returned product, our team verifies the condition and conformity of the item.

Only unused, unworn, unwashed items with their original tags (items must be in new condition) will be eligible for a refund.

Once the verification is complete, you will receive an email confirming the return and its refund.

The amount will appear on the bank account from which the order was placed, within 3 to 5 business days.

PAYMENT

Is the payment secure? 💰

Yes, the payment is secured via the 3D secure protocol.

You have nothing to fear. 🔒

What payment methods do you accept? 💰

We accept the following payment methods:

  • Credit card: Visa, Mastercard, American Express.
  • PayPal account.
  • Alma offers a payment solution in several installments (2 or 3 installments).
How can I pay for my order with a Maéli gift card? 💰

To pay for your order with your Maéli gift card, follow these steps:

  • At the payment stage, in the box: “discount code or gift card”, enter your card number.
  • Once the code is entered, you just have to validate it and the amount will be automatically deducted.

If your gift card doesn't cover the full amount of your order, you can complete your purchase with another payment method. Conversely, if your total order amount is less than the gift card amount, you can use the remaining balance for another order.

Is it possible to pay in installments? 💰

Yes, at Maéli, we offer you the option to pay in installments (2 or 3 interest-free payments) for any order over €50. We use the service provider Alma.

But how does it work?

All you need to do is:

  1. Choose the “Alma - pay in 2 installments” or “Alma - pay in 3 installments” option during the order validation step.
  2. Check your order, then click on “pay now”.
  3. You will then be redirected to the Alma website to complete the transaction securely using the 3D Secure protocol. Simply follow the steps on the Alma website.

A confirmation email will be sent to you by Maéli (order confirmation) and by Alma (payment confirmation).

Alma also notifies you by email four days before your various deadlines.

My payment isn't going through, what should I do? 💰

If your payment fails ❌, don't panic! We invite you to:

  • Check that the credit card information has been entered correctly (paying particular attention to the first and last name).
  • Clear your cookies and browsing history 🍪: some cookies can prevent a payment from going through. To do this, simply go to your browsing history to clear cookies, empty the cache, or delete your history.
  • Try paying with a different credit card.
  • Try paying via PayPal.

How do I get an invoice? 💰

A summary of your order is available in the order confirmation email or on your customer account.

If this is not sufficient and you require an invoice, please contact us by email at bonjour@maeliparis.com . We will get back to you as soon as possible.

Sewing patterns

Are seam allowances included? ✂️

Yes, for all our patterns, seam allowances are included.

As a general rule, they are 1 CM. This is specified at the beginning of each assembly guide.

How do I download a PDF pattern? ✂️

When your order is complete, you will receive a confirmation email at the email address provided during the purchase process.

This email is sent from “deliveries@skypilotapp.com” and the subject line will be: “Maéli Paris - Your PDF pattern is here ❤️ !”. If you haven't received the email, please refer to the question below: I ordered a PDF pattern, but I haven't received it, what should I do?

This confirmation email contains a link that will take you to the Maéli Paris website to download your PDF pattern . Simply click on “Access content”.

The downloaded file will be in ZIP format .

To unzip it, simply (depending on your device):

  • Press and hold on the zip file or double-click on the zip file.
  • Right-click on the folder, then select “Extract all”, and follow the remaining instructions.

The content will then be decompressed (or unzipped).

If you encounter any difficulties, you can try downloading (for free):

  • WinZip, if you have a PC.
  • Izip, if you have a Mac.

We recommend that you save the PDF pattern file to your device.

Note that some phone models block the download of zip files. In this case, you may need to download a dedicated application.

I ordered a PDF pattern over a year ago and haven't saved the files to my computer. I didn't create a customer account and I can't find the order confirmation email. What should I do? ✂️

After thoroughly searching for your PDF pattern, if you still can't find it, please send us a short email to: bonjour@maeliparis.com

What do your pattern envelopes look like? ✂️

Our pattern envelopes come in a pretty cardboard envelope, A5 size. Inside you will find:

  • The assembly guide is printed in color.
  • The pattern is printed in color.

Our pattern envelopes are printed in France.

I ordered a PDF pattern, but I haven't received it, what should I do? ✂️

When your order is complete, you will receive a confirmation email at the email address provided during the purchase process.

Sewing kits

How do I personalize my sewing kit? What changes from one kit to another? 🌈

At Maéli, we want to give you the choice to personalize your sewing kit 😍.

Depending on the sewing project, the items to choose may vary.

Generally speaking, the choice of fabrics is up to you.

The possible choices per project are listed below:

Depending on the kit that appeals to you, simply choose the different components by clicking on the “labels”.

The fabrics (outer / lining / panels) are illustrated by a photo including the fabric name.

Some kits use a module that allows you to preview your chosen fabrics. You then need to click on the "Personalize" button to see a preview of the project.

Once you have finished your selection, all you have to do is click on “add to cart” and proceed to payment.

Clothes

Where are the clothes and accessories made? 👗

At Maéli Paris, all our clothes and accessories are made with love, in France 🇫🇷 .

We primarily collaborate with women's sewing cooperatives, professional sewing workshops, and professional integration enterprises.

Our suppliers are chosen using very precise specifications to:

  • Their expertise.
  • Their environmental and social commitments.
  • Their location and production method.

But that's not all, we work with as many French suppliers as possible to promote a short and local supply chain .

For each product, you can find information about its manufacture directly on its product page.

What materials do you use? 👗

To avoid producing new materials and to preserve our precious planet, we have chosen upcycling . Therefore, we use as much as possible:

  • We repurpose old vintage fabrics: curtains, sheets, tablecloths…
  • Rolls of excess stock from fashion houses.

This avoids producing new material.

However, we can also mix these upcycled materials with new materials (for example on our Simone sweatshirt ).

In this case, we have put in place a very strict set of specifications (organic, certified materials), favouring natural materials, such as cotton.

Gift card

I'd like to give a gift card, how do I do that? 🎁

To give a Maéli Paris gift card, simply follow these steps:

  • Visit our “Gift Card” page.
  • Choose your amount: between €10 and €150.
  • Add it to your cart.
  • Complete your order.

The Maéli gift card is 100% digital, so you will receive an email with the e-gift card.

You can then print it or transfer it to your recipient.

This offer is valid on all our products and for one year.

How does the Maéli gift card work? 🎁

Maéli gift cards are valid for one year from the date of purchase, across our entire online store.

At checkout, simply enter your gift card code in the “discount code or gift card” section, then click “Validate”. The gift card amount will be automatically deducted.

  • If your gift card does not cover the full amount of your order, you can complete your purchase with another payment method.
  • Conversely, if the order amount is less than the gift card amount, you will be able to use the balance on a later order.
