Who is behind Maéli?
Maéli is first and foremost Amélie, its founder. After five years in the world of finance, Amélie felt the need for change and action in her daily life, but also for more creativity. She has always loved creating with her hands and so she turned to her first love: sewing .
Maéli enabled her to be more fulfilled by creating a responsible and committed company. Her goal? To inspire the revaluation of textiles to instill a different way of creating clothes and to make it a certain norm.
Alongside her, Nicolas joined the adventure in September 2022 as a partner. Drawing on his experience in business and his entrepreneurial spirit, he found in Maéli Paris the ideal project to combine strategy and creativity.
Together , they form a complementary and dynamic duo. They envision the best version of Maéli: a more committed, sustainable and creative fashion and couture, where every woman can flourish and be proud of herself.
What inspires us about Maéli
At Maéli, we celebrate beautiful fabrics and colorful floral prints. Inspired by the 70s, our designs are made to be worn year-round, with flattering cuts, rounded details, and that little extra bit of comfort that makes all the difference. Available in sizes 34 to 52, they are designed to fit the diversity of women's bodies.

SEWING PATTERNS
Our patterns are designed for upcycling ; inside each pattern you will find tips and advice for repurposing what you have at home.
All our patterns go from size 34 to 52 to fit a maximum number of body shapes.
They are accompanied by a step-by-step guide with diagrams, as well as a video tutorial to make them as accessible as possible.
CUSTOMIZABLE SEWING KITS
Our sewing kits are customizable , designed so that everyone can create a garment that reflects their own style. Vintage fabrics, French supplies, and women's patterns come together to make every sewing project a joyful, liberating, and unique adventure.
VINTAGE FABRICS
Our vintage fabrics are hidden treasures , patiently sourced from all corners of France. Cleaned and restored, they are ready to find a second life in creative hands. Each piece carries within it a story to be continued, a material full of soul for sewing with meaning and uniqueness.
READY-TO-WEAR
Each piece is designed using repurposed textiles, then produced in limited series in our French partner workshops, for a joyful, committed and meaningful fashion.

FAQ section
Where are the clothes and accessories manufactured?
At Maéli Paris, all our clothes and accessories are made with love, in France 🇫🇷 .
We primarily collaborate with women's sewing cooperatives, professional sewing workshops, and professional integration enterprises.
Our suppliers are chosen using very precise specifications to:
- Their expertise.
- Their environmental and social commitments.
- Their location and production method.
But that's not all, we work with as many French suppliers as possible to promote a short and local supply chain .

What materials do you use? 👗
To avoid producing new materials and to preserve our precious planet, we have chosen upcycling . Therefore, we use as much as possible:
- We repurpose old vintage fabrics: curtains, sheets, tablecloths…
- Rolls of excess stock from fashion houses.
This avoids producing new material.
However, we can also mix these upcycled materials with new materials (for example on our Simone sweatshirt ).
In this case, we have put in place a very strict set of specifications (organic, certified materials), favouring natural materials, such as cotton.
