Fabric & upcycling tips

Recommended fabrics:

  • Choose a lightweight (80-140g/m²) and natural fabric, such as linen, viscose or cotton.

Ideas for creating upcycled trousers:

  • Trousers are ideal for upgrading a light linen or cotton curtain.
  • The lapels, bags and pocket linings can be made from old sheets or fabric scraps.
  • The side pockets can be made from small doilies.
  • The cords can be ribbons or twisted strings repurposed from other clothing.
