Fabric & upcycling tips

Recommended fabrics:

  • A medium to medium-heavyweight fabric (220-350 g/m²) such as wool, velvet, jacquard or gabardine is ideal for giving structure to the jacket.

Ideas for creating the jacket using upcycling:

  • Reuse vintage jacquard curtains, old blankets, or combine two old pairs of jeans.
  • The jacket requires a significant amount of fabric. If your fabric is too small, combine it with another fabric: patchwork will be your best friend.
