We love it:

♥︎ Its adaptability for each season: a top for summer, an overblouse for winter and a blouse with puff sleeves for mid-season.
♥︎ Its haute couture finishes.
♥︎ Its original side closure is achieved thanks to a decorative seam.

Fabric & upcycling tips

Recommended fabrics:

  • Top and blouse: Opt for a light to medium-heavyweight (150-350 g/m²) woven fabric, such as twill, denim or gabardine.
  • Blouse: Opt for poplin, cotton gauze, linen or eyelet embroidery.

Ideas for creating a top using upcycling:

  • The blouse is ideal for showcasing beautiful antique embroidery. It can be made from a vintage embroidered sheet or tablecloth.
  • For a lightweight version, use a cotton fabric, like an old curtain, and voile for the sleeves.
  • The overgown can be made from a fairly thick vintage curtain.
