You will need:

• 6 buttons, 15 mm in diameter
• 50 cm medium fusible interfacing
  
• Main fabric:
  ‣ 155 cm x 140 cm width for sizes 34-38
  ‣ 175 cm x 140 cm width for sizes 40-44
  ‣ 195 cm x 140 cm width for sizes 46-48
  ‣ 205 cm x 140 cm width for sizes 50-52
  
• Lining:
  ‣ 130 cm x 140 cm width for sizes 34-38
  ‣ 150 cm x 140 cm width for sizes 40-44
  ‣ 170 cm x 140 cm width for sizes 46-48
  ‣ 190 cm x 140 cm width for sizes 50-52
  
• Elastic:
  ‣ 50 cm by 5 cm wide for sizes 34-38
  ‣ 56 cm long by 5 cm wide for sizes 40-44
  ‣ 60 cm x 5 cm wide for sizes 46-48
  ‣ 66 cm long by 5 cm wide for sizes 50-52

Recommended fabrics:

• Medium to medium-heavyweight fabrics (220-350 g/m²) such as wool, velvet or gabardine are perfect for this model.
• For the lining, opt for a thin and slippery fabric, such as viscose or a light cotton to make it easier to put the sleeves on with a thick sweater.

Ideas for creating the jacket using upcycling:

• Give new life to thick vintage curtains, old blankets or worn jeans.
• The lining can be made from sheets or fabric scraps.
• The back yoke can be made with a different fabric or even a vintage canvas to add an original touch.
