Fabric & upcycling tips

Recommended fabrics:

  • Use a medium-heavyweight (220-350 g/m²) woven fabric, such as twill or denim, with an elasticity rate of 5-30% and a maximum of 4% elastane.

Ideas for creating upcycled trousers:

  • Repurpose thick vintage curtains or combine two old jeans for a unique result.
  • However, consider making a muslin first, as this type of fabric does not contain elastane.
  • Scraps of fabric or placemats can be used to make the pockets.
