Fabric & upcycling tips

Recommended fabrics:

  • For making the skirt, choose a medium to medium-heavyweight fabric (220-230 g/m²) in warp and weft, such as twill, gabardine or denim, to give it structure.

Ideas for creating an upcycled skirt:

  • Reuse old floral curtains, an embroidered tablecloth, or old jeans.
  • Why not experiment with repurposing a quilted fabric with original patterns to create a comfortable and elegant skirt?
  • Don't forget to collect buttons, trims, ribbons... from your old clothes to personalize your creation.
